Here is your guide to create and living your perfect day :)
And it really is that simple!
Depending on how old you are……. You may remember a time before we had SAT NAV?
Or perhaps you’ve been on a LONG journey and your sat nav run out of juice or took you in completely the wrong direction? You had no idea how you were going to get to your destination!
Before you went on your journey you planned for it (hopefully), you packed your bags, checked the car to make sure there was enough oil and water and the tyres were pumped up enough.
You bought some nibbles to eat along the way and made sure you had something to drink. You decided on what time and day you were going to leave and what route you were going to take.
THERE WERE ACTUAL STEPS YOU HAD TO TAKE TO PREPARE FOR YOUR LONG JOURNEY.
To ensure you got there safely and on time.So here’s a question?
Do you plan your life the same way???
Often I’ll ask my private coaching clients:
WHAT DO YOU WANT ???
And 9 out of 10 times I’ll get a long list …. But guess what…
It’s everything they DON’T want.
I don’t want this and I don’t want that…..
KNOWING WHAT YOU DO WANT IS THE KEY TO CREATING THE PERFECT DAY.
My first mentor used to refer to this as your “ideal day”.So exercise time!
Grab a pen and paper out and give yourself 10 minutes.
FIRST OF ALL, YOU HAVE TO CLOSE YOUR EYES AND I’M GOING TO WAVE A MAGIC WAND OVER YOUR HEAD SO THAT THE NEXT TIME YOU OPEN YOUR EYES….
ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!
Whatever you want you can have it. You only need to decide!
Now write down…
Where are you?
What’s your house Like?
What do you do when you get up?
What time do you get up?
Who are you with?
What do you do next?
What classes or clients would you be serving?
How would you be serving?
What would you be charging?
What time do you teach?
What days do you teach?
And start writing down how your perfect day would be.
This wants to be how your regular day would look like. The more detail and feeling you can put into this the clearer it will become in your mind and IN YOUR LIFE.Once you have completed this exercise you now have the starting point of your journey. (hooray!)
Only then can you actually start taking those preparational steps towards MAKING THIS A REALITY.
This is an exercise I do with my 1-2-1 coaching clients and it’s one I do every year, actually, it’s one of my favourite exercises as it will highlight areas in your life that you can let go of, as well as put more energy into.
Stick your ideal day up on your fridge or somewhere that you can see it all the time to remind your subconscious and you’ll be surprised what ideas you come up with to help you move closer to your ideal day!
